For private law, that is where Local Authorities are not involved in a family dispute, Julliz Solicitors operate a fixed fee scheme which ranges between £850.00 to £1,500.00 plus VAT to file or respond to a petition before the matter proceeds to court. When proceedings are commenced in court, we apply an hourly rate charging scheme as set out below.

In Public law however, when local authorities are involved in safeguarding the welfare of children (Care Proceedings) the matter is dealt with under Legal Aid Scheme which is available to all those meeting both means test and merit test. Legal Aid is also available to a limited extent in Private Law where evidence of domestic violence is provided.
